Bauapp and Plandoc are ancient rivals in the Hungarian proptech market with their domestically manufactured products. Now Tamás Kocsis, founder and CEO of Plandoc for 14 years, and Bauapp founder Ádám Dálnoki and CEO Tibor Tamás have agreed to cooperate. Tamás Kocsis left Plandoc at the beginning of 2023 for unspecified reasons and will join his new company BIM Control for joint product development and strategic cooperation with Bauapp. The aim is to provide leading construction companies with a solution at the forefront of BIM migration and digitisation. They want to deliver innovative solutions and services in an integrated way to meet future customer needs. Two well-known players in the Hungarian construction industry digitalisation, Bauapp and Tamás Kocsis, with 20 years of IT solution service experience serving tens of thousands of users, are now joining forces in a strategic partnership under the BIM Control umbrella. The aim of the agreement is for the two companies to share the professional needs of their customers in the Hungarian and Polish markets and to present them in a systematic and decision-supporting way through BIM Control's product-independent integrated project management platform, using the information provided by the Bauapp product range.

The BIM Control solution aims to become a "software and expertise hub" in the Central European market in the coming years, uniquely connecting a number of CONTECH & PROPTECH solutions and a shared professional knowledge base for project management and real estate development.

Bauapp is a leading software developer for the construction industry in Hungary and Poland and provides defect tracking, design, BIM management solutions to major contractors and developers, as well as increasingly solutions for material handling, logistics, delivery note management.

One of the main objectives of the strategic cooperation between BIM Control and Bauapp is to provide a higher level of service to its customers. As part of this, BIM Control can also act as a consultant in the implementation and use of Bauapp's solutions, complementing the professional back-up support provided by Bauapp.
